“Duvel’s”
Digital Art
12.84 x 2.11inAn annual competition amongst CIA students hosted by Duvel and Winking Lizard drinking companies. Showcasing a unique look, the design was made in Procreate, transfered into Adobe Illustrator to be image traced and applied back onto a mockup of the beer companies unique tulip glass.
In this compettion, my design was created featuring the beer companys homecountry soccer team; the Red Devils.

A Burning Thread

7.75 x 3.75inWhat is a ritual to you? Is it something you radiate with? In this project we were tasked to define what a ritual was and I chose the burning thread ritual. Inside the box, there are instructions on how to do the intense ritual simplified down for people who may not be familiar with the steps! Designed with cardstock, rope, twine and candles; the ritual was born.
Each set represents its own meaning, with a master sheet included. Almonst all of the sets, there are decks of 4 cards each to walk a viewer through the ritual step by step and can be mixed with what the viewer is trying to succeed in accomplishing.
Resourced by spare items, it was made with a Motz fruitsnacks family pack box, spraypainted glossy blue, coated inside with white paint and watercolor paper, and touched with a vinyl design spraypainted yellow on the outside. Inside for support there is cardboard, hot glue, styrofoam, foam core and glue.

Adobe Illustrator and Indesign
For my design I took photos of the building, image traced and used photoshop to edit out tershiary elements and implimented a lego pattern. We were told to try and incorperate the motion of “Moving forward,” which for me is reflected through building blocks. That’s where our foundation is planted and helps develop us into who we are today.
As apart of Chen Gao’s Advanced Studio class, we were tasked with creating new Identification cards (ID) for Students, Faculty and Contractors.
